Love this summertime scrapping!

Pop in a movie and I take out my scrapping. I'm getting a lot done but I'm sure not even close to getting caught up.

These seriously are the LAST Disneyland 2007 layouts. I can't fit any more inside the book.

ScrapJammies - Wonderland

ScrapJammies - Double Vision

ScrapJammies - Happy Easter kit

ScrapJammies - Family Report kit
This one has pictures of our family from the early 90's on. There will be a lot of personal memories and journaling added to the tags

ScrapJammies - Saffron kit
This is my favorite layout right now. I just LOVE how it looks. Not to mention it's about 2 of my kidletts. I loved how I happened to connect that I had all these pictures of Amber and David together. I added the rub-ons for the title.

Another Wedding layout

The minute I saw this kit was in the ScrapJammies kit for June I knew exactly what pictures I was going to put on them. The photo on the left was taken by our photographer Cassie and the ones on the right were taken simultaniously by our friend Kim. I loved being able to use these pictures together. I'm very pleased with the way it turned out.

Travel scrapping

So last weekend when we were out in Oregon I decided to bring my scrapping things just in case we had some down time in the hotel. And I was able to get a few things done while the boys were at the workout room and the pool. Not to mention our movie watching at night.
I finished this book last night with the pictures. It's a SEI kit of the month. Which I only get every other month.

ScrapJammies Kit - Everyday Feb. 2008
And this is my LAST layout for our 2007 Disneyland book!!
This kit is called Pieces of Life and I don't remember where I purchased it.

Movies and Scrapping!!

I've been finding lately that if I sit to watch a movie with the kids or Rob I will eventually fall asleep sometime during the movie. So NOW I'm sitting at the dining room table and scrapbooking while we watch a movie. WOW! I've been productive with those Scrap Jammies kits!

Walking on the trail a few days before Tab's big day! We NEEDED some relaxing family time. Take a close-up look on the right page to see how BIG Amber's stick is!!
ScrapJammies kit - Carefree

David's Cub Scout cake auction. We made a Kitty Liter Cake. It sold for $40!! This goes in David's Scout book.
Scrapjammies kit - Metropolis

Another set of photos from walking on the trail. I just love the scenery at the start of spring.
Scrapjammies kit - Branching Out

Of course I have to scrapbook out new car!!!

Been scrapin'

But not postin' :D So here I'm catching up a bit on some of the layouts I've done

Our trip to Nooksack Falls. Poor David doesn't like the height! Just like one of my other children ~ ROBERT :D
Scrapjammies kit - Brocade

Love the title of this Scrapjammies kit - Life is Good!! I Disney-ized this layout with stuff from my Disney stash of brads and jelly-like bottle cap & mickey icon stickers. What could be better? Palm trees & Disneyland?!?!

Here's one for the embarrassment book ~ way back in 1994 (yep! I'm THAT far behind) when we first moved to Lynden.
Scrapjammies kit - Sketchbook

And one of little Miss Lizzie bugwhen she came to visit with her parents in December.

From Disneyland when we discovered our new favorite snack. The BEST chocolate chips cookies EVER!!!
SJ kit - Jubilee
These are pre-packing and on the plane pics. You'd think we were a bit excited on the plane?!

I Went to an "official" crop!

I've NEVER been to a crop at a store before. Oh, sure I've got together with friends at homes and church but not at a scrapbook store. So my friend Diane and I drove down to Everett and scrapbooked from 4:00 pm - 9:30pm. The crop went longer but with the long drive we knew we needed to leave early. We had a BLAST!!
Here's what I finished that night (a 3rd one needs to be finished)

ScrapJammies Kit - Silver Lining
ScrapJammies Kit - Photographie
This one I finished the night before since I was gathering kits and "needed" to do it at home since there was painting involved.
ScrapJammies Kit - Never Forget

I also got to meet my ScrapJammies mb friend Bev in person. She's such a sweetie!! We all had too much fun.

Entry #3

Here's the layout I completed for the challenge I'm in over at Scrappy Arts. I'm getting my entry in a bit late (blame it on that stupid migraine) so I'm not up for winning anything. But here's the challenge guidelines:
Create a paper layout (8 X 8 or larger) with a topic of "FOOD."
Your favorite foods to cook, your family's favorite foods, restaurants you've visited, food in foreign countries, horrible food experiences, family recipes, etc. The choice is yours!! Your layout MUST also include these elements that are made from the letters of the word "City"
C- chipboard (my arrows)
I- ink (around the outside edge of the paper and tag)
T- tag (yep!)
Y- your favorite embellishment-- be sure to identify it and tell us WHY it's your favorite! (The "bling" heart and the brads. Just LOVE 'em)
And here are your race challenges:
Use a picture of food! (5 points) - The heart cookies & pizza
Use one or more arrows (5 points) - 2 of them
Use the name of a type of food in your title (not the word "food") (10 points) - "Treats"
Use paint on your layout (10 points) - nope

Wedding Thank you cards

Here's what I have been working on the last few days off and on. These are just for me to send out to thank my friends who helped with the wedding. I ordered the photos from Costco and put the border on the picture before they printed them. Love that feature!!

Winter Mini Book

Last night Rob took the kids to their activities at the church and I got to stay home ALONE for 2 hours!! What's a girl to do? SCRAPBOOK!!!! I work a 6x6 mim book I got over at Treasury of Memories. It went together really fast! I just have to finish with the journaling but I really like the way it turned out.

I added the ribbon because it looked too plain. I'm just not sure if that's the right something. What do you think? More? Less?

A few scrappy/crafty things I did for the wedding

Now that I'm starting to get some time to breathe a bit, I thought I'd show you some of the goodies I created for the wedding.

Picture frames - These were scattered all over the room for the reception. The words are just rub-ons. Very quick and easy.

Thanks to Kim for taking these pictures at the Temple and uploading them to Wal-greens. And thanks Michelle again for running to Wal-greens to pick these up for this ditzy mother-of-the-bride that drove right on by to the reception.

The Guestbook: I made the cover for them. ALL rub-ons.

Here's the actual "sign-in" part. We had Dori O'brien taking pictures of the guest upon their arrival and these will be on the left.
The guest wrote a little note on the plastic part. Unfortunately not as many people willingly let Dorii take their picture as we would have liked. So now I'll need to be creative in placing their "best wishes" to the happy couple on the pages.

Garter & Cake Servers:
I happened into JoAnn's Fabrics when these little guys were on 50% off. I just added the flowers, ribbon & tulle to spruce it up a bit.

Yes! It's been too long!

Can you believe it? Well, yes I'm sure you can. I've just been a bit busy around here to actually scrapbook a page. But I'm in a contest over at Scrappy Arts and this is my entry for race #2. Missed race #1 because of the wedding. But as I said over there on the mb, I will get race #1 done too. I'll just be that last car entering the stadium and crossing that finish line after the lights are out and everyone has gone home!!
Here's my entry:
