Disneyland Album

When hubby heads out of town for the week you can get lots of scrapbooking done :O) I don't sleep very well when he's gone.
Thanks to many of you for supporting Amber in purchasing cinnamon rolls. We made 34 dozen! We don't want to make another one of those for a least a year. That is only if Rick VanderVeen wants some once he can eat solids again. He was a great supporter for Amber. She paid for her entire trip and had a nice wad of $$ to spend on souveiners. She did good!

California Adventure - A Bugs Life 3-D. David was not too happy to see this show. In fact he kind of lost it. Hey, I had to close my eyes too when the spiders came :O)
Padawan David's certificate!

More pictures from the Jedi Training Academy. This was a Scrapjammie online sketch Challenge. I used GinX & Scenic Route pattern papers. Here's the sketch for the challenge. They found it on Page maps (link on the sidebar).

The past 2 days

So I needed a stress release from this ultra busy week. Thursday night I went to a Stampin' Up party. I can't remember the last time I hosted one of those let alone went to one. It was a lot of fun and really kick started some creative juices. Here's the card we made that night.

At first everyone thought I was being such a wacko at taking pictures of our food. But now that this layout is complete they all LOVE it. It just makes our mouth water and wish they shipped their products.
(Scrapjammie kit - Electric)
Splash Mountain ~ what can I say except "Got Wet"?
(Scrapjammie kit - Ticket to Paradise)
King Aruther's Carousel ~ such a classic attraction.
(Scrapjammie kit - Riviera)
As you can tell I LOVE Scrapjammie's kits. They go together SO fast. Check them out under my links when you have the chance.

Disneyland 2007 album

So I thought I better get this album started and finished BEFORE 2009. That's when the next school trip will be. I was so bad with our 2005 album and didn't finish it until a few months before we left in May. Here's what I have so far:
Buzz, Woody & Jessie (I've had this kit for so long. Unknown company)
Pluto & Donald (Another unknown company I purchased this kit from. Very simple but cute)

Storybook Land Canal (a scrapjammie kit)

Grizzly River Run (a scrapjammie kit)

Various family pictures (A scrapjammie kit)

My absolute favorite picture! I love those secret shots.

Welcome!

Thanks for following the link on our family website to check this out. This will be a place where I post completed scrapbook pages. I love to scrapbook ~ too much sometimes. Nnnaaaaaww! I will never be "caught up" but I do enjoy the process. What I like the best is when I see my kids laying on the floor looking through our albums. THAT'S what it's all about! I scrapbook in phases so I'm just going to start posting current layouts. Thanks for stopping by! So until I get a new layout done here's a few pictures to keep you entertained!

Here's a picture BD (before David)! Proof of what wonderful, goofy kids we have! Can you guess what year this was taken? The first person to guess correctly will get a RAK (Random Act of Kindness)! You never know what it will be. Mmmmuuuuhhhaaaaaa!
Here's 2 hints: Oldest son is now married (2005) and youngest son wasn't born yet (1997). So who's up for the challenge? Guess away!
Here's one of David just to prove that he's just as goofy! That's his Kitty Litter Cake we made for his Cub Scout Auction. And it really did taste good. We had to try the ingredients on the side before we assembled the final product. Hey, it brought in $40!
